This service enables you to lock the phone line from sending and receiving, as the phone line cannot be used permanently until the service is reactivated, and one of the most important cases in which you can deactivate the service is if the phone SIM card is lost.

Deactivate the service

You can deactivate your SIM card service by using any other Libyana phone line, dialing 121 and following the below from left to right

121 141 92/94XXX XX XX #Password#

Reactivate the service

You can reactivate your SIM card service by using any other Libyana phone line, dialing 121 and following the below from left to right

121 142 92/94XXX XX XX #Password#

Note: 92/94XXX XX XX XX is the phone number you wish to deactivate/reactivate the service for.

Or via the service (USSD) menu by dialing the code:

*121#

Notes:

  • Deactivating the service of your phone line does not prevent it from continuing to go through the phases of the phone line, as the periods continue normally.
  • This service is free of charge.

FAQs

When I call a number belonging to Libyana, I see the message ‘The requested number is not in use'?

This is because the service for this number has been temporarily suspended through the temporary service suspension feature.
