Card Categories

  • 5 LYD Recharge Cards: Valid for 30 days from the recharge date.

  • 10 LYD Recharge Cards: Valid for 70 days from the recharge date.

  • 30 LYD Recharge Cards: Valid for 180 days from the recharge date.

    • 5 LYD Recharge Cards: Valid for 30 days from the recharge date.

    • 10 LYD Recharge Cards: Valid for 70 days from the recharge date.

    • 30 LYD Recharge Cards: Valid for 180 days from the recharge date.

      How to Recharge Your Card

      When purchasing one of the recharge cards, gently scratch the gray layer to reveal the secret code, then follow one of the steps below:

      Dial the code 120 on your phone screen, followed by the secret code of the recharge card, then press the call button.

      Call the number 121, choose 1, then 1, and enter the 13-digit secret code.

      Through the services menu by dialing the code #121*.

      Notes:

      • When recharging the balance, the validity period of the phone line is increased progressively, not exceeding 180 days.
      • The validity of the phone line does not expire when the balance reaches zero but ends when the specified period from the date of the last recharge expires.

      Stages Your Phone Line Goes Through

      • Pre-Usage Period:


        Starts when you purchase the phone line Ends with the first call made, or if not used, after 30 days from the purchase date, If not used, ownership reverts to the company.

      • Validity phase:


        Active usage phase, allows you to benefit from all services that Libyana offers. This period lasts for 35 Days.
        This period will automatically renew after topping up your balance, the additional period will not exceed 35 days.
        To keep benefiting from all Libyana services and offers you must keep your phone line on this stage.

        • Before the end of your phone-line period you’ll receive an SMS from Libyana reminding you that the validity due, you must topup your balance before the end of this period. For the case of not topping up your balance and this period expires, your phoneline will be transferred to the recharge phase.
      • Recharge phase:


        Starts immediately after the validity phase During this time, you can receive calls and messages but can't make outgoing calls, except for calling the service number 121 for recharging, Lasts for 180 days if not renewed.

        • Two days before the end of the recharge phase, a text reminder is sent.
      • Frozen phase:


        Follows immediately after the recharge period Lasts for 30 days, You can check your phone line status by dialing #121* from left to right, If not recharged during this phase, ownership reverts to the company.

      Note:
      The validity of phone cards for special numbers will go through all the previous stages. However, after the freeze period ends, subscribers can reactivate their phone cards by visiting the nearest Libyana service center and paying a fee of 5 LYD.

      Scratched vouchers

      If the charging card is damaged due to an error while scratching off the gray layer, resulting in the numbers being erased, you can follow one of the following solutions:

      Fill out the Scratched Cards Form:
      Through the MyLibyana App, Watch the instructional video.
        You can also go to one of our service centers and hand over the card to one of the employees who will, in turn, replace it with a new recharge card of the same category (i.e., of the same value).

        Electronic charging is distinguished by its flexibility and widespread availability through bank websites, applications, and electronic point-of-sale devices distributed in most stores within Libyan cities and provided by our partners.

        How to Obtain Credit:

        • The subscriber receives an electronic receipt containing the serial number and PIN for the value of the credit.

        • The subscriber enters the PIN in the usual way.

        • The subscriber receives a text message confirming the success of the charging process.

          Frequently Asked Questions

          If you are unable to recharge and hear the message, “You cannot recharge now; please contact the operator to exit the reservation menu”?

           it means you have exhausted the allowed three recharge attempts. To exit this menu, you must wait for 24 hours or pay a fee of 20 LYD at one of the company's service centers. After that, you can proceed with the recharge.

          What happens after the expiration of the validity period?

          During this period, you can receive calls, make calls to toll-free service numbers, and recharge the balance only.

          What happens after the refill period ends?

          Upon the end of the recharge period, the service will be terminated, and it cannot be retrieved again.

          I have a scratched Libyan phone voucher, and I couldn't recharge it. Is there a solution for scratched vouchers?

          You have multiple methods to retrieve the scratched voucher:
          – You can use MyLibyana App and retrieve the scratched voucher by following the steps.
          – Call our customer care on the toll-free phone number 150
          – Visit one of our service centers and hand it over to one of the employees who will, in turn, replace it with a new recharge card of the same value.
