Balance Transfer

With Balance Transfer, you can transfer any amount from your balance to a loved one's balance, or receive a balance from a friend, easily and conveniently within a few seconds.

Service details

  • The minimum amount that can be transferred is 1000 dirham (equivalent to 1 Libyan Dinar) and the maximum amount that can be transferred is 50,000 dirham (equivalent to 50 Libyan Dinars).

  • A balance transfer does not affect the validity of either the sender or receiver.

  • When you transfer the balance, you will be notified of the success of the transaction.

  • When you receive the balance, you will receive an SMS with the sender's phone number and the amount transferred in dirhams.

How to use the service

1.

Type the following formula (from left to right) on the phone screen and then press dial button:

*122*Phone number*Amount in dirhams#

For example: *122*092/94XXXXXXX*1000#

You will receive a message confirming the transfer as follows:

(xxxx dirhams will be transferred to 21892/4xxxxxxxxx, to confirm send 1)

Respond by typing the number 1 and then press Send.

3.

You will be notified of the success of the transaction and the following will appear on your cell phone screen:

(xxxx dirhams has been successfully transferred to 092/94XXXXXXXXX)

Note: You can also transfer the balance via the service (USSD) menu by dialing #121*.

FAQs

How does the recipient confirm a successful transfer?

Upon receiving the balance, the recipient will receive an SMS containing the sender's phone number and the transferred amount in dirhams. The text of the message is as follows:

“Dear subscriber, an amount of XX dinars has been transferred to 092/94XXXXXXX on YYYY:MM

Does the validity increase after receiving the balance?

The validity of the phone line is not affected for either the sender or the recipient of the balance.
