Libyana provides its clients with international and local calling service, you can make any call by following the steps below:

Local calls

1. Mobile phone

  • To call any mobile phone within Libya, type the operator code and then the mobile number.

  • Example:

    • 092-501XXXX
    • 094-412XXXX
    • 091-377XXXX

2. Landline phone

  • To call any landline number inside Libya, type the city code and then the phone number.

  • Example:

    • To call Tripoli
      021-463XXXX
    • To call Benghazi
      061-908XXXX

    Cost of service (Libyana-Libyana):

    One minute in local calls (Libyana – Libyana) is divided into 60 pulses, each pulse consists of one second, and the price of this pulse is calculated by dividing the price of the minute by 60 seconds. For example: When the subscriber makes a 15-second call, 15 pulses equal 0.015 dinars deducted from his balance.

    The above service cost to the service cost for calls from other networks:

    One minute for local calls (Libyana – landline) (Libyana – orbit) is divided into 10 pulses, each pulse consists of 6 seconds, and the price of this pulse is calculated by dividing the total minute by 10. For example: When the client makes a call with an Al-Madar subscriber for 15 seconds, which consists of 3 pulses (6 seconds + 6 seconds + 6 seconds + 6 seconds), the value of 18 seconds will be deducted from his balance, assuming that the call is (Libyana – Al-Madar) the cost will equal 0.027 LYD.

    • Example: To call a cell phone number in Egypt, type the number as follows:

    2. Landline outside Libya

    • To make an international call to any landline number outside Libya, type: + or 00, then the country code, then the code, then the landline number.

    • Example: To call Cairo, Egypt, type: + or 00, then Egypt key (20), then Cairo city key (2), then the rest of the number, as follows:

    International Calls Cost

    Note:

    • Remote islands and all other destinations not previously listed cost 3.000 LYD
    • M-Sat and all other destinations or forums with special tariffs not previously mentioned cost 8.500 LYD
