Voice Call service

Libyana offers to its customers international and local call service.
To make any call just follow these steps:

Local call:

• To call any Libyana number inside Jamahiriya, write the operator code followed by the telephone number.

• To call any land line inside Jamahiriya write city code followed by the telephone number as showed below:
  For example

  to contact with Tripoli City	(021)463XXXX
  to contact with Benghazi	(061)908XXXX

Cost of service: Every one minute in local call is divided into 10 pulses. Each pulse has 6 seconds, which the rate of one pulse is calculated as: the rate of one minute divided by 10.
For example: when a customer calls another customer for 15 seconds which is defined as 3 pulses (6 sec. + 6 sec. + 6 sec.), then the rate of 18 seconds will be deducted from his/her balance. So the rate of 18 seconds (Libyana-Libyana) will be 0.045 LYD.

International call:

• To make an international calls dial + or 00 then country code then operator code followed by the telephone number.
  For example:
  to call any phone number in Egypt dial the desired number as follows:

• To call any landline out side Jamahiriya dial + or 00 then country code then city code followed be the telephone number.
  For example:
  To call Cairo city in Egypt dial + or 00 then Egypt code (20) then Cairo code (2) followed be the telephone number as shown below:

Cost of service:
