SIM card Replacement procedures
If your SIM Card is damaged or lost you can replace it, by visiting one of our
Business Centers near you with providing the following:
For Libyan Subscribers:
- Personal appearance.
- Proof of identity, either ID card, Passport or even family booklet (Original + photocopy).
- The phone number that needs to be replaced.
For Foreign Subscribers:
- Personal appearance.
- Passport (Original + photocopy).
- The phone number that needs to be replaced.
In case you don't have time to complete the procedure in person, one of your nearest relatives (Parents, sun/daughter , husband/wife or sister/brother) can attend instead to complete it with providing the following:
- Proof of your identity.
- Proof of his/her identity.
- The phone number that needs to be replaced.
For Companies or Institutions:
- A letter from the company clarifies the phone number that needed to be replaced.
- A letter from the company entitles a representative on its behalf to complete the procedure enclosed with a photocopy of his identity, or attend the SIM card’s owner with a letter proving that he’s the owner of this SIM card and enclosed with a photocopy of the his identity.

1- What does the message "the SIM card is blocked" on the screen mean?

The phone card has been destructed and it can be replaced at one of Business Center .
3- How can I be sure that SIM card is destructed?
You can be sure the SIM card is destructed in case of appearance one of the following messages:
- Insert the SIM card.
- The SIM card is blocked (Rejected).
- PUK is blocked.
where phrases are differ the same as the used mobile phone model and the defect type in the SIM card.
4- What are the required documents needed in the replacement procedure for one of the distinctive numbers?
- The presence of the original owner.
- The Proof of his/her identity which must be the same ID that he/she showed it to buy the distinctive number before.
- The phone number that needed to be replaced.
